Vacuum Conveying Systems

Multiple in feed options are available, including the following:

• Jet air wand.
• Rotary valve.
• Screw feeder.
• Variable air bleed.
• The double valve is working antagonistically.
• Product dis-entrainment options

At the destination point, material is dis-entrained from the air stream using cyclone receiver with filter, these can include the below;

• Continuous discharge by rotary valve or double valve operation.
• Tangential inlet for friable products.
• Sacrificial wear plates for abrasive materials.
• Filter media; Polyester, PTFE, Stainless steel, Porvair candle.
• All media is available as anti-static option.

Conveying rates of up to, 20,000 kg/hr are available and distances of up to 150 mtr are achievable using vacuum lean phase. An advantage of pneumatic transfer is the flexibility to transfer to multiple destinations from a single source.

Distances and rates above 20,000 kg/hr and/or 150 mtr distance, are catered for using either dense phase or a blowing system.
