PMO (Project Management Office)
Rospen’s Project Management Office (PMO) service provides structured project control from concept through to handover, ensuring powder handling and process system projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Service Overview
The PMO coordinates all stages of a project, from initial scope definition and design reviews through procurement, installation, commissioning and final sign‑off. A dedicated project manager acts as the main point of contact, aligning engineering, commercial and site activities with the agreed programme. This central control helps minimise risks, manage changes and keep stakeholders informed throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Planning and Governance
The PMO develops a clear project plan covering milestones, responsibilities, interfaces and key technical deliverables. Formal governance, such as regular progress meetings, stage‑gate reviews and change control, keeps the project aligned with client objectives and budgets. Risks and issues are logged, tracked and mitigated, with decisions documented so there is a clear audit trail for technical and commercial choices.
Coordination of Engineering and Site Works
The PMO brings together process, mechanical, electrical and control engineering activities to ensure a coherent, integrated design. It coordinates procurement of equipment, manages supplier schedules and synchronises deliveries with site readiness to reduce delays and congestion on site. During installation and commissioning, the PMO monitors progress against the plan, resolves interface issues and manages any required re‑sequencing of works.
Safety, Compliance and Documentation
Project management includes oversight of health and safety planning, method statements, risk assessments and site permits so that works are carried out in a controlled, compliant manner. The PMO ensures that requirements from DSEAR, ATEX and other relevant standards are considered in design, installation and commissioning stages. It also manages the collation of technical files, manuals, certificates and test records needed for handover and ongoing compliance.
Communication, Reporting and Handover
On an ongoing basis, progress reports, programme updates, and cost tracking keep clients fully informed to make timely decisions. Later, towards the end of the project, PMO is involved in the coordination of snagging, performance testing and final documentation to facilitate the transition into operations. This systematic procedure minimises a start-up problem, they facilitates consistent long term performance and gives a proper visibility of project results to all the stakeholders.
