M&E installation brings together all mechanical equipment (such as conveyors, feeders, sifters and silos) with electrical power, control and instrumentation so the system operates as a fully integrated solution. Rospen’s engineers coordinate on-site works, manage interfaces with existing plant and ensure installations reflect the agreed process design and layout. Mechanical Installation

On the mechanical side, the service can include the installation of bulk-handling equipment, structural steelwork, access platforms, chutes, ducts, and associated pipework. Equipment is positioned and fixed in line with approved GA drawings and manufacturer requirements, allowing for maintenance access, clean-down and safe operation. Mechanical works also cover alignment, connections between units and the installation of guarding and safety devices to meet relevant standards.


Electrical and Control Installation

Electrical installation typically includes power distribution to new equipment, field cabling, containment systems, motor connections, and the installation of control panels and local isolators. Control and instrumentation wiring is routed and terminated in line with panel drawings, I/O schedules, and system architecture, so that drives, sensors, valves, and weighing equipment all communicate correctly with the control system. Testing, loop checks and functional proving are carried out before handover to confirm that the installation operates in accordance with the process design.


Hazardous Areas and Compliance

Where systems are installed in zoned or potentially explosive atmospheres, M&E works are completed to reflect DSEAR/ATEX requirements, site zoning drawings and equipment certifications. This can include the installation of ATEX-rated motors, instruments and panels, appropriate cable glands and sealing, and segregation of circuits in line with hazardous area standards. By tying installation into wider DSEAR reports and CompEx inspections, Rospen helps ensure the finished system is both compliant and safe to operate.
