Compex & DSEAR

Rospen provides integrated hazardous area safety services for powder handling and process plants, helping you manage both explosion risk and electrical compliance under DSEAR and ATEX. Our DSEAR reports and CompEx inspections work together to identify hazards, define appropriate controls and ensure your installed equipment remains safe, certified and auditable.

CompEx Inspections

Alongside risk assessment, electrical and control systems in hazardous areas must be installed and maintained correctly to remain compliant and safe. Rospen’s CompEx-certified engineers carry out detailed inspections of ATEX-rated control panels, field devices and wiring in zoned gas and dust atmospheres to confirm that equipment is suitable, correctly installed and properly documented.

By combining CompEx inspections with in-house control system design and ATEX panel manufacture, Rospen offers a single partner for both plant performance and hazardous-area compliance over the life of your installation.

DSEAR Reports

Understanding and controlling explosion risks from powders, dusts and other dangerous substances is critical for any modern process plant. Rospen provides formal DSEAR reports that identify where fires or explosions could occur, define hazardous zones and document practical control measures aligned with UK regulations.

These assessments link directly to your existing equipment and controls, giving you clear, auditable evidence for regulators, insurers and internal stakeholders that risks are understood and actively managed.
