Tare Compensated Weighing System

Allows the dead weight of the mixer, feeder or hopper to be isolated via a specialised mechanical linkage from the loadcell

A tare compensated weigh frame allows the dead weight of the mixer, feeder or hopper to be isolated via a specialised mechanical linkage from the loadcell. The loadcell only sees the weight of the product in the vessel.

The reason for this is to ensure high accuracy of the weighed product in the mixer, feeder or hopper.

Typical reasons for use are when there is a high “dead weight” to nett weight. (nett weight is the powder that you want to weigh in the vessel). i.e. a mixer weighs 10,000kg and the weight of the powder we want to weigh is 1000kg.
