Rospen have been designing, manufacturing, and installing custom designed control systems for over 40 years. At our manufacturing facility in the North West, Rospen has full in-house electrical, control and software design capabilities. Rospen’s control panels are assembled and wired in-house to the highest standards.
We have undertaken projects in many industries in the United Kingdom and Worldwide and can offer clients custom control panels from smaller motor starters or weigh controllers to large motor control centres. Our personnel are fully qualified, and our internal processes are backed by the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
Important to the development of any project is the design of the electrical control panel. Our electrical design team are well versed in a variety of design packages including EPLAN and AutoCAD. Prior to manufacture CAD schematic drawings for electrical circuits and the panel layout can be submitted to clients for approval, to ensure both parties recognize what the control panel will look like and how it will function.
For calculating heat loss and temperature our design team use the Rittal Therm calculation program. For Siemens based systems the TS Selection Tool is utilized and for Allen Bradley based systems, we use the Rockwell Configurator. For the evaluation of safety in the context of ISO 13849-1 we utilize the SISTEMA Safety Integrity Software Tool.
Rospen develop PLC and HMI software in house for all our projects. Our team of experienced programmers can develop Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Schneider systems. We are also experienced in SCADA programming and data logging software packages which are utilized in our client’s plants on industrial PCs. Each HMI software is custom developed for the individual requirements of project with 3D visual representations of the equipment to allow the operator to clearly see the status of a particular process.
HMI navigation is straightforward and intuitive based on button or icon presses. We can program features such as alarms reported by the equipment, security access levels based on the permissions for the users including elements which are hidden from an operator but are available to the maintenance or engineering team, and historical data in graphical format.
Rospen’s panel wiremen are fully qualified and have many years of experience. All our electrical control panels are built by fully qualified personnel to high standards in panel wiring and assembly. We handle the procurement of components in house and can build clients electrical control panels from start to finish.
The construction can be fully customised to our client’s project requirements. We have an efficient manufacturing area which covers a range of control panel types from small junction boxes to complex motor control centres. All our control panels are CE marked and conform to strict standard requirements.
Rospen can design manufacture and supply ATEX certified control panels for use in hazardous areas. Our custom designed panels can be bespoke to clients specific requirements and are CE marked to the ATEX directive for safe use in zoned areas with potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres. In compliance with DSEAR regulations our CompEx certified engineers can inspect, test and install client’s equipment to ensure it is safe and compliant.
