Rospen Solid Screw Conveyors are suitable for conveying a variety of powder and granular materials. A tube-shaped housing contains a rotating screw flight which using an Archimedean type design conveys the material from the machine inlet to the machine outlet. Screw conveyors are robust and mechanically simple. A range of screw diameters are available from 25mm to 250mm which can convey air feed rates in the range of 10kg/hour to 200,000kg/hour depending on the material bulk density.
Rospen Flexible Screw Conveyors are a conveying system for dry powder and dry granules. Flexible Screw Conveyors, also known as Flexi Screws, Spiral Conveyors or Flexible Auger Conveyors are used throughout industry and have a straightforward design, they are most suitable for free-flowing and fair-flowing materials. A rotating spiral auger which is driven by an electric motor conveys the material, the spiral auger is shaftless and self centralizes in the polyethylene tube. The tube and spiral can follow a curved path, conveying in a bend, which is why it is considered flexible. Rospen’s standard range includes a 50mm, 75mm and 100mm diameter spiral and feed rates in the range of 100kg/hour to 10,000kg/hour are achievable.
Rospen’s Belt Conveyor range can be used to convey bulk materials from point A to point B or can be designed to sit on a frame with load cells to continuously weigh the bulk material. The belt conveyor uses an endless conveying belt which wraps around a drive drum and an idler drum. The drive drum is driven by an electric motor. The friction between the belt and the bulk material provides the driving force to convey the material. Rospen’s standard range includes belt conveyors from 50mm to 450mm active width, rates in the range of 20kg/hour to 40,000kg/hour are achievable, depending on the material bulk density.
